The history: Actual Pain was started in 2006 by designer and musician TJ Cowgill in Seattle. It actually started off as a t-shirt line and then grew into a whole slew of clothing and accessories. His wife, Emily Denton, teamed up him and took Actual Pain to a new level involving lots more influences.
Why we love 'em: Actual Pain rocks not only because of the name – come on, how hardcore is that? But because of how amazingly good quality everything is. Plus, we love Actual Pain leggings. They've got a cult following and we know why. Super comfy and so killer, Actual Pain has got us hopelessly in love with their dark designs that it hurts.
