The history: Founded by Gemma Shiel in 2001 in a garage, Lazy Oaf are an independent British streetwear label who focus on driving irreverence into everything they do. Designing men’s and women’s collections from their London studio, the brand creates pieces that play on their dark, and often, warped sense of humor. The attitude of poking fun and not taking anything too seriously is carried through the whole design ethos which is continually inspired by misspent youth, teenage rebellion and a general sense of apathy towards conforming to the norm.
Why we love 'em: Perfect for punks and quirky gals, Lazy Oaf reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously. Lazy Oaf clothing reminds us that, duh, fashion is supposed to be fun. Get sassy. Get cheeky. Get a little weird. With bright graphic tees and crayon colored accessories, damn, we just wanna be kids again.
This brand in one phrase: get a little weird
